Six Nations offering value to punters

The Six Nations Championship begins with Bookmakers already crowning England as champions for an unprecedented third time in-a-row.

Eddie Jones’s all conquering England side are by far the favourites to claim the title again, with only Ireland fancied to get anywhere near them.

Bookmakers are not taking any chances and most have the Red Rose nation odds-on, with Evens being the best price as the public continue to back them.

“The Six Nations has traditionally been close, indeed not since the French side of the 1980s or the Welsh in the 1970s have we seen such a dominate force in this competition – now England are that,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.

“England at Evens now, could even be judged as a good price, Ireland are next in the betting but it is a two-horse race according to the Bookmakers.

“But you have to wonder if there might be some value, Wales and France are hugely talented squads – but at 16 and 20/1 respectively, they might just attract some interest.”

Selected Six Nations Odds:
England Evens
Ireland 6/4
Scotland 8/1
Wales 16/1
France 20/1
Italy 1000/1
