Royal Ascot starts this week but Bookmakers are expecting more of the same with continued domination from Irish stable Ballydoyle.
Superstar trainer Aidan O’Brien has won best trainer for the last three years, and he is odds-on to do it again.
Likewise, Ballydoyle’s number jockey Ryan Moore is conversely odds-on to take the top-jockey prize, which would be for an eighth time in nine years.
“Royal Ascot is the one of the highlights of the race calendar, flat racing’s Cheltenham – but on the track everyone is expecting the continued domination of Ballydoyle in the shape of Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“O’Brien is 1/2 and Moore 4/5 which tells us everything, the Punters are going with them.
“Although, Ballydoyle don’t have the shortest price horse, that is Cracksman – who is odds-on for the Prince of Wales Stakes for John Gosden.”
