The Winter Love Island cast is believed to have been finalised, and already the names of some of the contestants are believed to be being leaked…
Series six is due to begin on January 12, with Laura Whitmore taking over from Caroline Flack as presenter – at least for this first winter edition – although she will have little problem bedding in, being the girlfriend of Iain Stirling – the narrator and voice of the show since it began.
ITV bosses, who were inundated with applications for the new show which will be based in South Africa, have now completed their selections.
Models Jay Munro and Ellis Iyayi have long been rumoured to be going in, but now others are being talked about – including Alisha LeMay.
LeMay is a social influencer who comes with an already established following, and she has a number of well known friends – including Towie star Pete Wicks.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “We are almost there, New Year now means new Love Island and we certainly have that in 2020, with a new presenting team to boot – but it is all about the contestants.
“Betting wise we know that Jay Munro and Ellis Iyavi have long been favourites to go in, but we have seen big money now come in for Alisha Le May – who is already well known in the social media circles, and it certainly would not be a shock if she turned up in South Africa.”
Winter Love Island Winner Odds:
Jay Munro – 2/1
Ellis Iyayi – 7/2
Alisha LeMay – 6/1
Sophie Piper – 8/1
Charles Drury – 12/1
Emily Clarkson – 14/1
