Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard have confirmed they have parted ways, now only one couple remains from last summer’s Love Island.
Just as the first ever Winter Love Island has come to a close with a host of couples, long term the couples might have a battle.
Looking back at Love Island since it began back in 2015, there have been some big success stories – indeed there have been three marriages and a couple of babies.
The only couple from 2019 still together are Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.
Maura and Curtis means that we only have five couples remaining, although there are half-a-dozen couples coming from South Africa – meaning it could be the most productive Love Island yet.
The top- six couples in Winter Love Island, are all currently dating. They are winners Finn Tapp & Paige Turley, Luke Trotman & Siannise Fudge, Demi Jones & Luke Mabbott, Ched Uzor & Jess Gale, Mike Boateng & Priscilla Anyabu and Callum Jones & Molly Smith.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “It remains to be see just how popular the 2020 batch, but Paige Turley and Shaughna Phillips have just passed 1.5 million followers on Instagram meaning they are now amongst the 20 most popular Love Islanders of all time.
“But couples do well, and as it stands this 2020 batch are going really well with a host of them still together – we have had three weddings so far, so the hopes are surely one of the first Winter Love Island series will make it that far.”
