It’s time to meet the team behind the scenes at OddsMonkey and get to know a bit more about us. First up, Buschra!
Hi! For those of you that don’t already know me, I’m Buschra and I look after the Customer Experience at OddsMonkey. It’s my duty to make matched betting fun and engaging so if you’re ever in our community and you yawn from boredom about anything we post or offer, then make a ‘B’ line and tell me!

How long have you worked at OddsMonkey?
I started at OM on March 21st to be exact. Before that, I worked at another matched betting site for 3 years. I’m new at OM but not new to the matched betting scene.
Do you match bet? If so, how long have you done it?
I have been matched betting very actively since 2016. I still do get on some sports offers here and there as well as casino.
Buschra is a unique name. Where are you from?
I’m Canadian of Palestinian descent. I’ve lived in the UK for just over 5 years. So if you ever watch a video of mine in the future and you’re wondering why I have a North American accent, it’s because I am North American!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I have a nearly 6 year old daughter called Isabella and she takes allllllll my free time. I’m sure the parents in the group can relate. 24/7 parenting duty.
We have a lot of fun together. We read, do arts and crafts, watch movies, go on little adventures together. I should also mention Dairy Milk chocolate as I do spend a lot of time eating chocolate.
Do you have any other side hustles?
I do! I think it’s important that we build side incomes while we can…especially passive ones. Time is just as important as money because we need a balance to stay sane! I’m also involved in property and renting out my villa in Orlando as a holiday home. I have a management company that runs it for me so that’s very passive.
If matched betting could be called something else, what would you call it?
Hmm. Anything that doesn’t have the word betting in it as many associate it with gambling. I’d call it something along the line as ‘bonus arbing’ or something similar.
Anything you want to say to the OddsMonkey members?
Yes – I just want to say that I can’t wait to get to know you and help you with your journey. Well done for taking the plunge into matched betting as I know from personal experience that it has changed my life. Not just the profit but the fact that I got a career out of it and I get to see people reap the rewards from it. There is nothing like reading achievement posts from people who have cleared debts, paid for IVF, bought their first car, etc all because of the help matched betting has given them.
