Bookmakers believe that Liverpool will seal their first ever Premier League title as early as March.
No team in Premier League history has ever taken the top prize before April, but now Jurgen Klopp’s thus far all conquering outfit look we placed to do so.
Liverpool are priced at just 9/4 to make take the title at one of the two match-days in March.
Should The Reds claim the title it would mean they have beaten the previous record by up to a month, beating the mark of April 14th – set by their arch-rivals Manchester United in 2001.
Indeed, Liverpool could seal their league win against neighbours Everton on Monday March 16th – which means that would be everything done and dusted with a mammoth eight games remaining.
Liverpool are also on course for a record points tally, having dropped just two points all season, as they will eclipse the current record of 100 points set by Manchester City in 2018.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “The title is done, but Jurgen Klopp’s men are not just walking over the winning line, they are smashing through it.
“As such the side markets such are very interesting, such as when they will win it? and Bookmakers seem pretty convinced that they will do it in March, it is 9/4 that they win on one of their two Premier League match-days in March.
“They are now odds-on at 2/5 to break the 100 points barrier whilst to become one of the Invincibles they are now just 9/4 – it is remarkable just what they are on the cusp of achieving.”
