England have been installed as the new favourites for the European Championship – which is now taking place in 2021.
Euro 2020 has been postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and it will instead be played next year.
England will again host the semi-finals and final, at least, and Bookmakers consider Gareth Southgate’s squad the front runners.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “England were looking to end their more than half century wait for a major title this summer, that is on hold but already the Three Lions are favourites for the finals – something they have never been before prior to it starting.
“Despite being delayed by 12-months punters believe there is now more chance that England win and their odds have been cut into 4/1 – putting them ahead of Belgium and France.”
