Champions League hero Gareth Bale is continuing to hog the headlines, but this time it is over his future.
Bale’s brace gave Real Madrid a 3-1 win over Liverpool, but despite his starring role – it is far from certain he will be back to help them try for a fourth successive European title next year.
Reports are suggesting that Manchester United are ready to make a move for the former Tottenham Hotspur forward.
“Gareth Bale showed just why he is at Real Madrid with a brilliant display against Liverpool, and little surprise the British Bookmakers and media alike are clamouring to see what his next step is,” explained OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“As it stands – the most likely outcome appears to be him staying at Real Madrid which is around Even money, but should he leave then there is only one outcome and that appears to be Manchester United.
“United are around 7/4, and that price has halved since the final.”
