The final of Britain’s Got Talent 2019 has been decided, with OAP singer Colin Thackery the odds-on favourite to take the title.
Thackery was barely in the betting before the live semi-finals, but he wowed in his live performance and took victory on Wednesday evening, dispatching of pre-semi final favourites boyband Chapter 13 in the process.
The final is made up of the five winners from the semi-finals, plus one from the remaining top-two…but there will also be one more addition with the judges’ wildcard to be picked ahead of Sunday’s live final.
But we can again reveal that the Judges’ own Golden Buzzer picks have been a real let down with only Kojo Anim and Flakefleet Primary School making it through, the picks of Simon Cowell and David Walliams respectively.

Looking at the odds and Chelsea pensioner Thackery is odds-on to take the victory at 8/11, way ahead of joint second favourites X – the psychic magician – and Dave & Finn, the former police dog and his partner.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton commented: “We have 10 of the 11 finalists, but no matter who the judges put through, that will not impact on Colin Thackery and his favourtism, the way he came through his semi-final – it is hard to see him getting beat and the Bookmakers are not taking him on.
“X and Dave & Finn both rated at 5/1, come in as semi-final winners so should be respected too.”
Selected odds:
Colin Thackery 8/11
Dave and Finn 5/1
X 5/1
Ben Hart 7/1
Jonathan Goodwin 8/1
Flakefeet Primary School Choir 12/1
4MG 25/1
Kojo Anim 25/1
Mark McMullan 33/1
