Manchester City have the Bookmakers running scared still, this time over a possible quadruple.
As City booked their place in the semi-finals of the League Cup where they will face Bristol City, Bookmakers now make them just 25/1 to lift all four trophies they are competing for.
With some Bookmakers already paying out on their likely Premier League title success, they are firm favourites for the remaining three competitions – the League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League.
“Pep Guardiola does not think City will do it, but the Bookmakers are in fear – and winning and unprecedented quadruple is down to 25/1,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“At the start of the season it was 500/1 for someone to do this, now there is serious thought and Bookmakers are reporting take some hits on this market – there are not many involving City that have such a big price.
“This is almost like the market for them to go undefeated in the Premier League – you will be lucky to get more than 5/1 on that now.”
