Juventus have seen their odds for glory next season slashed after they snapped up Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo sealed his £100million move to the Italian champions earlier this week, and even before his arrival in Turin he is making an impact.
Juventus are coming off the back of four successive domestic doubles, but they have lost two out of the last four Champions League finals, and they have not won Europe’s top prize since 1996.
But now with Ronaldo on-board, there is a real belief that Max Allegri could take them to European glory.
“Juve are odds on for domestic success again, but with Ronaldo signing these have come in and to win Serie A against next season they are as short as 2/5,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“And their odds on Champions League glory have come into 7/1, and they are now ahead of Ronaldo’s former club Real Madrid in the betting.
“As it stands only Manchester City and Barcelona are shortest prices in the Champions League market.”
Selected Juventus odds:
2/5 Juventus to win 2018/19 Serie A
7/1 Juventus to win 2018/19 Champions League
20/1 Juventus to win Champions Leaague, Serie A & Coppa Italia 2018/19
