Monaco superstar Kylian Mbappe looks set to join Neymar at Paris Saint Germain, and you need to get on the Parisian giants quickly if you fancy them to win something this year, according to odds specialists OddsMonkey.
Mbappe is odds-on to make the move to Paris, joining on an initial loan before completing a permanent deal next summer.
Now with the prospect of Mbappe moving to PSG – Bookmakers, who had slashed their odds on Champions League success when Neymar arrived – have cut the odds further.
“Mbappe is going to Paris, if the odds are to believed, BetFred and SkyBet have him at 1/5 and PaddyPower are as short as 1/9,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Ricky Pedley.
“With Mbappe on his way, Bookmakers are already reacting and now they are generally 6/1 to win the Champions League – that makes them co-second favourites, ranked at the same price as Bayern Munich and Barcelona, with only Real Madrid ahead of them in the betting.
“So if you do fancy PSG, now is the time to push forward as their price will only likely get shorter and shorter, and their odds on winning the French Ligue 1 title again are already hugely odds-on. They are as short as 1/16 with BetVictor and BoyleSports.”
