The first silverware of the English season will be decided on Sunday, but despite two teams on show at Wembley – the Bookmakers feel Arsenal are almost wasting their time turning up.
City are odds-on to lift the Carabao Cup, whilst Arsenal are as big as 4/1 to claim the prize.
However, City come into the game after losing in the FA Cup to League One Wigan Athletic, so is there hope for The Gunners?
“From what we have seen so far this week, Arsenal have been attracting interest and have seen their odds cut,” said OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton.
“However, that does not mean money has not been coming for City – they are currently at 4/7 which is just over 60% probability and is the largest price City have been for a game in months, so in terms of backing Pep Guardiola – there is some value there.
“Overall the Bookmakers are hoping for the Arsenal win, as they are anticipating a lot of pre-match money on City too.”
Selected Carabao Cup odds:
Manchester City 4/7
Arsenal 4/1
