Britain’s Got Talent 2018 looks like being of the most wide open competitions ever.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams have made their picks for the semi-finals, who will battle it out for a place in Sunday’s Grand Final.
During the build-up, a number of acts have proven popular in the betting markets, but as it stands there is little to pick between the leading contenders.
OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton explained: “As it stands there is not a clear strong favourite, which is rare for this stage of Britain’s Got Talent.
“As it stands the favourite is father and duo Jack & Tim, who are 4/1 and have been considered front-runners since they received Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer.
“But it is a close call, brilliant magician Marc Spelman is second favourite at 6/1 but it is so close with the likes of The D Day Darlings, Gruffydd Wyn and RISE all considered genuine contenders.
“And we expect big changes in this market over the week as we will find out who the public like, rather than just the judges.”
Britain’s Got Talent selected odds:
4/1 Jack & Tim, 9/2 Marc Spelman, 6/1 The D Day Darlings, 13/2 Gruffydd Wyn, 9/1 RISE, 10/1 Lost Voice Guy, 12/1 Father Ray Kelly, 12/1 Micky P Kerr, 14/1 Aleksander Mileusnic, 14/1 Magus Utopia, 14/1 Ronan Busfield, 16/1 Calum Courtney, 16/1 Lifford Shillingford, 20/1 DVJ, 20/1 Maddox, 25/1 Amy Marie Borg, 25/1 Giang Brothers, 25/1 Nick Page
