The business has experienced rapid growth over the last few years and we are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Junior Marketing Specialist to join the company.
Who are we looking for?
OddsMonkey are looking to drive acquisition and revenue growth by further developing an established marketing capability.
We are looking for a junior marketing specialist to explore new media, platforms, tech and growth opportunities within owned, earned and paid media including including , tiktok, youtube, influencers, etc
The right candidate will research, identify, propose, plan, implement and review marketing activity / campaigns in ‘unexplored’ media opportunities.
Successful campaigns will be identified and ported over into the BAU marketing shape plan which the candidate will assist the marketing manager into transitioning.
They will have a passion for new and existing platforms and advertising opportunities within them. Be autonomous enough to research, plan and run tests on cross channel media and report back internally.
They will be focused and ambitious, with a strong “can do” attitude, and a determination to team up with others to make an impact.
Marketing Junior Marketing Specialist duties and responsibilities
- Research, identify, propose, plan, implement and review marketing activity / campaigns in ‘unexplored’ media opportunities (owned, earned and paid media).
- Collaborate with channel-specific marketing teammates (blogging, email, social media, etc.) to identify areas for growth
- Test and optimize marketing tactics for customer acquisition (e.g. Social media platforms organic and paid, ATL activity to target certain areas) and conversion rate optimization
- Conduct and present competitive analyses and market research
- Propose creative new projects, from building free tools and apps that attract prospects and convert accounts to testing new approaches to capturing existing demand
- Translate ideas to actionable plans that deliver business results
- Analyse, recommend and lead the implementation of improvement initiatives
- Keep abreast with the latest trends and changes in media platforms and opportunities
- Identify industry trends and insights
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous working experience in emerging technologies and platforms (e.g – Tiktok, Reddit, Pinterest, Instagram, Snap)
- Knowledge and practical experience of data analysis
- Hands-on experience with web analytics and A/B testing tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High standards of excellence and attention to detail
- Non essential but preferable – Applicable knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Non essential but preferable – experience and knowledge in UI/UX best practices
